The Island Manor House is an enchanting inn located in the heart of a secluded little island…Chincoteague! The 1848 Island Manor House is essentially comprised of two houses joined together by a common sunroom and open patio courtyard. There are seven comfortable guest rooms, each with a private bath. There is also a former guest room used by the masseuse for professional massages.
The first level houses the parlor, the living room, the sunroom
(Garden Room), the dining room, the kitchen, and the spacious innkeeper’s quarters.
The second level has five guest rooms plus an innkeeper’s bedroom. The third level has two guest rooms and three large rooms used for storage.
The Inn has been in operation since 1982. Average occupancy the last three years is 38.38%, with an average daily rate of $151.53.
The property of @.50 acres is beautifully landscaped and provides ample off-street parking for the innkeepers and guests. Visitors to the inn can walk to many of the shops, galleries, and restaurants. For the more adventurous guests, it is an easy bike ride to Assateague Island and the National Wildlife Refuge and the beach.
