Strategically located next to acclaimed O'Malley's Irish Pub, the Inn at Weston Landing was built on the site of the 1842 Royal Brewing Company with two of the three historic cellars used as public space. With approximately 6,300 s.f., the Inn comes fully furnished with antiques, private baths and entrances. Guest rooms are European in design and decor....English, Irish, Scottish, and Welsh. Attention to detail for authentic historic atmosphere in the rooms, including stucco walls with exposed brick, hearths with fireplace cranes, deep windows, beadboard, beamed ceilings, pedestal sinks and more, makes the Inn feel as if it has been open since the 1800s.
The 26' x 23' Gathering Room is located in one of the historic stone cellars and can be used for watching television, playing games, or just relaxing with guests. Innkeepers have private deck and fenced yard, while guests can relax in the charming garden area, hot tub, or front yard gazebo. The large 25'x23' storage room in basement is very handy for seasonal decor, bicycles, and other items. Retail space is currently used as an antique store and occupies the first floor entrance, as well as one of the stone cellars...great opportunity for additional income and interaction with guests. Historic Weston, Missouri (www.westonmo.com) is located just north of the Kansas City airport. The Inn at Weston Landing, one of six B&Bs in town, is located one block from the town's Main Street, where antebellum buildings are occupied by museums, galleries, restaurants, and shops offering antiques, home decor, clothing, photography, handrolled cigars, candles and other items, many by local artisans. Next door to the Inn is O'Malley's Irish Pub, Brewery, and America Bowman Restaurant (www.westonirish.com) which are also on the site of the 1842 Royal Brewing Company. The Pub is located in the underground stone cellars, the lower one being two stories high, and features live music on weekends. They also host an extraordinary Irish Festival in the fall. America Bowman Restaurant is open seven days a week, and the Brewery is currently brewing ten beers. Weston has consistently been voted the #1 Day Trip in the Kansas City area for several years, and has a strong following from the Kansas City metropolitan area, as well as Nebraska and Iowa. Just 15 minutes across the river in Kansas is Ft Leavenworth and the Command General Staff College (CGSC), with officers and spouses coming to Weston to enjoy the European feel of the town.
