Beautifully situated in the oldest cobbled street of Ronda and surrounded by historic buildings, this unique hotel is just a few minutes away from the city centre, yet facing the natural park 'Sierra de las Nieves'.
Several romantic courtyards and terraces offer stunning views of the mountains, the river 'Guadalevin', the old city and the renowned horse riding school 'Maestranza de Ronda'.
The subtropical indoor garden with a variety of exotic plants, birds and fish is an attraction for nature lovers.
Furthermore the premises include an outdoor swimming pool, sauna, dining room, bar and spacious lounge areas.
The decoration is original and edgy.
Being hosted in an authentic Moorish building dating back to the 15th century, the major historical value of this property is indisputable. The garden even contains a 13th century watch tower wherein one of the bedrooms can be found. The residence has been used as well as a pilgrim’s guesthouse on the Compostela route, illustrated by remaining signs like the pilgrim’s shell carved in the wooden doors of the rooms.
At present it is a hotel with a bohemian, funky and laid back atmosphere.
It makes an ideal artists’ hub and a perfect getaway for the open-minded looking for something special.

More reviews in travel guides and newspapers:
The Sunday Times: “On the oldest paved street in a city where Orson Welles once rubbed shoulders with bullfighters, Enfrente Arte bristles with quirky art. Pull up a chair in the subtropical garden for views of the mountains, the river and quirky Ronda itself. ”
Guardian: “On the edge of handsome Ronda, famous for its all-round historic loveliness, the hotel has a pretty garden overlooking the rolling mountains. This is inland Andalucia - home of flamenco and bullfighting, with plenty of photogenic pueblos blancos to visit.”
Frommer's: “Surrounded by historic buildings, this little inn faces the natural park, Sierra de las Nieves. The mansion has been beautifully decorated and handsomely restored. A subtropical garden has exotic plants and the courtyards and terraces open onto views of the Old Town and the countryside.”
Lonely Planet: “On a historic cobblestoned street, EnFrente Arte offers a huge range of facilities and funky modern/oriental décor. It has a bar, pool, flowery patio with black bamboo, sauna, film room and fantastic views out to the Sierra de la Nieves. ”
Rough Guide: “Stylish new hotel inside a restored mansion with distinctive and elegant rooms. Additional luxuries include a delightful garden, pool, games room and sauna.”
