1910 farmhouse renovated in 1986 as B&B. Present owners have been here fifteen years. During this time the house has been painted and re-roofed, furnace and heat pump renewed, six guest rooms and owners qtrs. redecorated, four guest rooms have zoned HVAC control. Private owner's quarter adjoins the inn and includes, kitchen, bath, walk-through closet, BR and great room with vaulted ceilings.
Majority of guests are from the Bay area, Portland, OR or Seattle and here to attend the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. OSF is eighty years old and is the largest, professional, repertory theater in America presenting eleven plays in a nine month season in three modern theaters.
Audience surveys conducted for OSF by Southern Oregon University show Ashland visitors on average stay 3 1/2 days and see 3 1/2 productions while here. The audience and therefore our guests tend to be interesting, educated and affluent. Average occupancy per year is 53%.
