After 22 years as a very successful operation under the founding and original innkeeper, She recently got married and her new husband is retired and wants to travel. Sooooo, the inn is now up for sale.

Owner will be happy to spend some quality time with buyers to show how she managed to do this for more than 20 years and still love every minute of it and not suffer “burn-out”. She will also share all inn recipes and culinary tricks, all the trade secrets, vendors, how, where and why to advertise, how to save on food/utilities/etc.

Because all the properties -- The Place Next Door (TPND), Cliff Cottage (CC), The Artist's Cottage (AC) and Zelda's Studio-- are all zoned C-1 Commercial, you can do whatever you like in any of the buildings. There is room to expand -- the big lot between The Artist's Cottage and Cliff Cottage has space for another building. Owner had plans to create another living space or suite in the attic of Cliff Cottage which was approved by the Arkansas Preservation and Heritage Program. She also designed an all-glass front "house" to be built above the bluff behind Cliff Cottage and The Place Next Door. You can easily create a second suite above Zelda's Studio Apartment as when present owner put new heat and air into the first floor for the Studio she also had it run upstairs where there are 3 rooms (right now it is just used for inn and personal storage). OR, when redesigned by present owner, space was allowed for the installing of a circular staircase from Zelda's first floor up into the second floor to make a 2-story owners' quarters..

Cliff Cottage Inn has also been named “Guests Most Favorite Inn” for the second year in a row by one of the world’s most comprehensive B&B directories (BNBFinder) in addition to being awarded TripAdvisor’s “Certificate of Excellence” in 2014 for the fourth year in a row. Cliff Cottage Inn has also been designated as a GreenLeader by TripAdvisor (the first GreenLeader in Eureka Springs!) for the inn’s 20 years of dedication to conserving and preserving our Good Earth. Almost every weekend during the season and even off-season, Eureka Springs offers a festival or special event and the town is famous for its wacky parades. Guests can easily walk down a few steps to all the fun happenings such as the annual Blues, Folk and Jazz Festivals. There are special weekends for Corvettes, Classic Cars, Ferraris, Miatas, VWs, Antique Cars, Minis and many more. The inn’s elf provides plenty of event details ahead of time once you book so you don’t have to waste precious getaway time trying to figure out what you’d like to do.
