Pittsboro is the Chatham, NC county seat and is a National Historic District. The beauty of the location is that you can enjoy the quiet ambience of a small town with economic importance surrounded by organic farms and a peaceful rural landscape with convenient access to a major metro area. The Raleigh-Durham airport is just 40 minutes away. Within town are several draws for guests: couples getaways, family reunions, small weddings, Roy Underhill’s Woodworking School (1 block away), private, county, and court business, Aulder Academy (a girls’ boarding school) and more.

Situated on an attractively landscaped third of an acre lot with commercial zoning, the five guest rooms are comfortable and benefit from both leisure and business travelers. The Colonial Revival structure was built in 1912. The inn underwent extensive renovations in 2000 and is currently enjoying some further updates. All guest rooms have Kingsdown mattresses, ceiling fans, cable TV, wifi, flat screen TV’s, and private baths. Two rooms have fireplaces and double whirlpool tubs for the romantic getaways! There is central forced air HVAC and public water and sewer.
