The lodge features 12 traditional guest rooms with both private and shared baths and 6 larger bunk/dorm rooms which are ideal for small groups or families. The large living room/lounge area features a huge field stone fireplace and is a great gathering place for guests to share their mountain experiences of the day. Guests are provided a family style continental breakfast each morning in the dining area.
The property includes a 3-bedroom, 2-bath, owner’s quarters (9 rooms total), manager’s quarters and a 2-story, 2 1/2 car garage. The owner (only the 2nd one in 55 years) is retiring after 40 years of ownership. This is a turn-key operation with all furniture, fixtures, etc. included in sale. The Lodge can be run efficiently with a minimum of staff.
Many renovations…new roofs, furnace, flue liners and more… have been done in the last few years. Owner is remaining in the area on a part-time basis and will train and assist the new owner as needed. The Lodge has been open only in the fall and winter leaving the potential for a substantial increase in revenues, if lodge were to remain open year round.
