Meander down the Sanctuary’s cobblestone path that leads to a private castle door entrance into an etched glass European tiled floored garden sky lit conservatory living room. Even though the Sanctuary’s private B&B retreat is part of the main residence, it feels like a cottage that’s tucked into the landscape.
This all-season room overlooks the natural habitat where cardinals, finches, bluebirds, a resident red-tail hawk, and an occasional owl will make their presence known. Chipmunks play in season and the resident groundhog all feel at home in the Sanctuary.
The Sanctuary's private B&B retreat is like one's own small residence within the Sanctuary. In addition to the conservatory, there are two bedrooms, office/meeting room, full bath, Provence-style kitchen with a separate entrance that is stored with provisions for your comfort and convenience.
The ‘Snow White’ bedroom has a custom-designed and built extra large, king size brass bed, a wall-to-wall white stone fireplace, large white wall-to-wall built-in desk/dresser with many drawers, European tiled floor, window seat, three windows that look over the back gardens, private patio and bucolic scenery.
Adjacent to the bedroom is a meeting room with a table and chairs, armoire, sidebar/dresser and accent furnishings.
The quaint, pristine, predominantly white and aqua bathroom has a shower and European tiled floor, window with white shutters, and a basket of complimentary fine toiletries.
Adjacent is a cheerful pastel Provence-style galley kitchen with a private entrance and scenic views. Although there is no cooking or meals served, we provide a small refrigerator, toaster oven, coffee maker, and cabinets with dishware, flatware and other essentials.
The 'Amethyst Room' is an intimately decorated healing bedroom with a queen-sized bed, comfortable chair, built-in dresser, violet-hued stained glass window panel, lavender curtains, pastel tile floor, and bathed in a spectrum of lavender and lilac hues. The Amethyst Room was formally used as a healing room and still contains healing energy and love.
