The main house was originally built as a hand-crafted family home in 1970. Five of the eight guest rooms are located within the main house. The main house was built in a Northern New Mexico style of architecture and it features authentic adobe construction. The B&B is comprised of 3 separate buildings (not including a storage building or the private residence). The compound complex sits on approximately 6 acres, offering wonderful views of foothills, pastures and mountains. The original buildings were updated and converted into the B&B in 1992. Virtually all windows (26) were replaced with energy efficient, low-e replacement windows in 2007. All guest rooms have individual heat controls and private baths. There is hot water baseboard heat throughout the majority of the buildings. There is limited radiant heat and electric baseboard heat in the remainder of the buildings. Five of the eight guest rooms can sleep up to 4 guests (1 queen & 2 twins). Three of the eight guest rooms can sleep two guests (1 queen). The sunny breakfast room can comfortably seat 18 guests. There are many antiques throughout the buildings. Plus, 3 fireplaces and 1 wood-burning stove. The property offers many outdoor sitting areas (covered porches, patios, decks, gazebos, etc). Guests also enjoy the year-round use of the outdoor hot tub and access to wireless, high-speed internet.
