Staunton is the oldest city in the historic Shenandoah Valley and the award-winning downtown area has been beautifully restored.  Frederick House is located across the street from Mary Baldwin College and within walking distance of the home of President Woodrow Wilson, the new Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library, the Stuart Hall School For Girls, and the Amtrak Train Station. Enjoy a night of theater at the Blackfriars Playhouse, the only re-creation in the world of Shakespeare’s legendary indoor theatre.
Frederick House has rooms and suites in five restored former residences dating from 1809.  The 12 Guest Rooms and 11 Suites each have individual comfort controls, remote television, WIFI, telephones, reading and writing areas, comfortable robes, private baths and other amenities.  Some of the suites are quite large and can easily accommodate two couples or a large family. There is ample off-street parking for guests.

Staunton is at the intersection of Interstates 81 and 64, and at the intersection of scenic Routes 11 and 250 in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley.  It is an easy drive of approximately 100 miles from the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
