There are four fireplaces in the home that are not currently being used but have the gas log inserts in place – they are in the living room, parlor, library, and one downstairs in the separate suite’s living space (see below). The house also has a water softener/filtration system.

The second floor has a beautiful chandelier over the hallway banister, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths - one bath with tub/shower is off the end of the hallway and the other has a shower and is a jack-and-jill bathroom between two of the guest rooms.

Since the house is situated on a sloping part of the yard, there is an outside, separate entrance off the rear to the remaining living space - a lovely 500 sf suite with bedroom, living space and bathroom that could serve as an owner's quarters if desired (currently included in the guest room/bath count on the listing).

We have been using the property as a vacation rental and small retreat space (as well as enjoying it for our own large family reunions) for the last 4 years, receiving 5 star reviews from our guests. We are simply ready to move on to other projects and 'play more'.

Our types of guests have been wedding parties (there is a wedding venue just blocks away), golfers (world renowned golfing nearby), sports teams competing in the area, families for reunions, weddings and funerals, small retreat groups, and, business teams working locally. The property has done very well even without any effort at marketing beyond placing it on a few holiday retreat websites. A true marketing program could easily double the traffic.
