Tranquility Bay Waterfront Inn sits at the ‘end of the road’ on the tranquil Pacific waters of Sechelt Inlet, immediately adjacent to the 70sq km of Mount Richardson and Tetrahedron Provincial Parks. As you enjoy the ocean view from your deck, outside hot tub, dock, terraced gardens or room, the only sounds you will hear are the sounds of the eagles, seals and many birds.

Many guests settle in and enjoy the free use of Hot Tub, BBQ, Fire Pit, Kayaks, Paddle Boards and Canoes although some prefer to head into Sechelt with its plentiful restaurants, coffee bars, galleries, and stores.

“Unforgettable!!!!”

I don’t even know where to start. 5-star service, food, lodging, personalities, scenery!!!! Having traveled all over the world to different 5-star hotels, B & B, resorts, you name it we have done it, you cannot find a more unbelievable place.
Outdoor, Prince George, Canada
After enjoying the gourmet, two-course breakfast served in the privacy of your room, balcony or terrace many guests are eager to check out the immediate vicinity with extensive hikes, trails, and kayak routes. Also available straight from our dock are fishing. Sailing. Crabbing, prawning and eco tours with many guests opting for the ocean to table experience offered by the talented hosts.

There are steps down to the ocean at Tranquility Bay Waterfront Inn dating from 1920 when local entrepreneur selected this site as a steamship destination for families from Vancouver.

The spot was particularly chosen as it gets the very last moments of Summer Sunset, the Inn is bathed in golden sunlight up to 90 minutes after many other vacation spots are in darkness. Today the Inn remains remote at the very end of Sechelt Inlet Road. In Winter the only lights around are at the Inn, with dark skies sparkling with stars. Many guests are shocked to sleep so soundly they have to be woken for their breakfast served at their room at 10.30 am! The spot is popular with wildlife; a pair of Eagles nest in the islet opposite, seals often bathes on the rocks. Guests using the in-room binoculars can often spot 20 to 30 bird species in a two-night visit. All the natural wonders of wilderness available from the warm luxury of your suite along with premium channel cable and high-speed internet.
