Walnut Hill is comprised of a barn, farmhouse, and six acres with a small pond, fencing and mature trees. Walnut Hill used to be a working farm with roots going back over 200 years to a deed signed by Benjamin Franklin. The barn is a traditional Western Pennsylvania bank barn built around 1930. Each floor is approximately 2800 square feet. On the first floor are four guest rooms, one of the rooms has a hot tub and fireplace, four bathrooms, a workshop and laundry area. On the second floor is a 100 seat restaurant with a fireplace, a mahogany bar, and two kitchens with commercial fixtures. On the third floor is an intimate dining room and an owner’s suite. The farmhouse has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, a kitchen and three additional rooms on the main floor. The main floor of the farm house opens onto a spacious patio and a large pavilion perfect for hosting weddings. Walnut Hill is situated on a quiet country road and provides a spectacular view of the Laurel ridge. Walnut Hill is conveniently located close to exit 91 of the PA turnpike and many local attractions including Fallingwater, Ohiopyle, Seven Springs, Fort Ligonier, and hiking and biking trails. The property is being sold with all the personal property used to operate the B&B, host weddings, and care for the grounds.
