Because we are small, we needed to make a good impression so we do something most B&B's do not do. We let our guests choose their breakfast (before their arrival) and we make it for them from scratch! We can easily accommodate special diets so we do! We get many guests for this reason. This is something that to our knowledge, doesn't happen anywhere else.
Our rooms are all unique. Check out our room photos. We are within easy walking distance of historic downtown Pontiac. We are located in a small town with a big heart. All of our museums, and we have a great selection, are free admission.The city often has their VIPs stay at Three Roses because of the individualized attention our guests receive.
We choose to take fewer guests so that our guests can have a private bathroom. We only take more than two couples at a time if they are together and don't mind sharing a bath. There is a full bath on the first floor that can be used by guests in Jennifer's Room when the need arises and the guest is able to climb stairs.
Our guests dine on fine china which will remain with the B&B when sold. As a matter of fact, all furnishings will remain as will our inventory of cookbooks and custom mugs for the new owner to sell. The only thing the new owners will need is their own computer. Current owner will assist the new owner getting legal work done and getting changes made on the website. (an attorney is not needed to operate a B&B). She wants to be certain the new owner has everything they need to be successful and will do anything needed to help make that happen.
We often have guests stay with classic cars. We park on the street so they can have a spot in our garage at no extra charge. Often these guests are showing their cars and really appreciate this little bonus. These folks come back every year to stay with us.
We are selling the B&B due to failing health of current owner.
