Our house is the one bedroom one bathroom beach house with a lounge and diner, leading out onto a covered terrace then into the private garden and onto the beach. the bathroom is tiled floor to ceiling in locally quarried Limestone, The kitchen consists of bespoke handmade hardwood counters and cupboards with local pasta tile splash back. All the floors are past tile.
The smallest rental suit used to be our spare bedroom and with very little effort could still be returned to make the master houses a three bed two bath, or you can choose to keep it as a rental as it has its own access door away from the house, with its two double beds private bathroom and kitchenette this room overlooks the garden and pool and is a very popular unit.
The three apartments are one-bedroom units with the original hammock hooks and a futon sofa bed in the separate lounger Each unit has kitchen range, microwave, refrigerator, pots and pans, dishes, TV with Dish, DVD player and Wifi, all the bathrooms are floor to ceiling locally quarried Limestone.
The ground floor overlooks the pool and garden area with a sliding patio door this is a very serene unit.
The middle has great views out to the Gulf and opens out to the larger terrace enjoyed by all the guests.
The top floor has stunning views to the Gulf and back to the Ria with its private staircase leading to a small private terrace.
This property features a pool and rooftop lounge area that can accommodate approximately 30-40 people and also has Private access to the beach for its guests.
This area is very popular with American and Canadian snowbirds who stay for months at a time Chelem has many restaurants both Mexican and ex-pat owned. Only 5-10 minutes to the Progreso Malecon with many more restaurants and vendors who support up to 4 cruise ships a week.
