This custom 5526 sq. ft. home sits on 4.65 acres of orchard overlooking Osoyoos Lake in the stunning Okanagan valley. It was designed and built in 2005 with attention to high quality, low maintenance, and flexibility. Each 350+ sq ft guest room has a private entrance off the back deck, which overlooks the lake, and an ensuite with an oversized Jacuzzi tub or a claw foot tub as well as a walk-in shower. The furniture, linens, and amenities are all high quality. Each room has a 32" LCD TV with DVD player as well as a telephone that can be used for local, or room to room calls.
The home is presently being run as a B&B but offers endless possibilities for the entrepreneurial spirit. The lower level is comprised of a two bedroom suite as well as rooms for storage and fitness. It is designed for flexibility, and can be easily changed to a one bedroom suite or even developed into two suites. At the top of the impressive solid maple staircase is a smaller bedroom and bathroom that can be either part of the B&B or part of the owner's private space.
The upper level boasts magnificent views from every window. A huge kitchen is well appointed with stainless appliances, custom Cherry cabinets, and endless granite counter tops.
The dining room and living room are spacious with picture windows overlooking Osoyoos Lake, and maple hardwood floors. All the rooms have access to a tiled deck which runs the entire length of the house. There is a natural gas fireplace in the living room. The master bedroom features a walk-in closet and ensuite with a deep 42" jacuzzi tub. The leaded glass French doors open onto a small deck with pastoral views.
There is also a 3 car garage attached to the house and excellent parking for guests.
