The 1876 Captain Bell House B & B is an elegant ship captain's mansion two blocks south of Lake Erie in lovely Vermilion, OH, named one of the best small towns on Lake Erie. The property also has an adorable guest cottage.

Both buildings sit on a large (12,600 sq. ft.) corner lot in the Harbourtown historic district. There are 12 locally owned restaurants within 3 blocks, and the beach is just four blocks away.

Vermilion began as a ship building community in the 1830's but in modern times is a well known summer destination with lakeside homes and cottages, fine dining ( #1 & #2 rated restaurants on Lake Erie) and over 3000 private boats moored in the many marinas along the Vermilion River.
