Nestled in the heart of the picturesque White Mountains, a four-season tourist area, the Cabernet Inn is situated in North Conway, New Hampshire, just a stroll away from the scenic Intervale, with breathtaking views of Mt Washington and the Presidential range. Built in 1842 as a Victorian cottage, this inn was completely refurbished, enhanced and established in 1992. The Inn now reflects the elegance of the past and the comfort and amenities of the present. This romantic Inn caters to couples seeking romance, outdoor adventure, relaxation and privacy.
There are eleven guest rooms. All guest rooms feature private baths, free Wi-Fi, ceiling fans and air conditioning. Ten of the guest rooms feature queen-sized beds. Four rooms have gas fireplaces, two rooms with two-person Jacuzzi tubs. There are two Premium rooms with both fireplace and Jacuzzi and one Luxury Suite. The Luxury Suite features a king bed, gas fireplace, TV, refrigerator, vaulted ceiling and private spacious bathroom with two person Jacuzzi and separate shower.
Two guest living rooms with wood-burning fireplaces provide a relaxing atmosphere no matter what the season. The one we call the “Gathering Room”, located on the lower level, offers a wet bar, guest refrigerator, comfortable couches, color cable TV, hiking guides, player piano, board games and puzzles. The large, gourmet kitchen is of particular interest to those who enjoy the art of cooking and the aroma of freshly baked breads, muffins, treats and all sorts of good eats.
Fully installed sprinkler system on all levels, hard-wired-battery backup CO2/smoke alarms and security system. Antique lighting fixtures throughout including an incredible art deco revival Texas chandelier in foyer. Housekeeping closets on every floor. Innkeepers quarters is smart for easy cleaning and comfortable.
