HISTORY: Civil War General Thomas 'STONEWALL' Jackson was the Great Uncle of Jackson Arnold who built this town mansion. He was an attorney, banker and legislator in both VA and WV and founded the WV State Police. Little changed, the house has it's original oak interiors, inlaid floors, massive doors, ornamental mantles, leaded, beveled and stained glass windows and a third floor ballroom!
