Upachaya Eco-Lodge is now for sale. We are located on the island of Roatan, Honduras in the West Caribbean. Our lodge has 7 rooms which can accommodate a maximum of 18 guests. Each room has a private bath, with custom tile and granite counters, showers, and floor. Bedrooms have hard wood floors, ceiling fans, A/C, refrigerators, coffee makers, and all comfortably appointed. We are located on Man O'War Harbor, in a very private and serene bay. Upachaya has 2.3 acres of gardens where fruits are grown to provide to local guests.
We have also been operating as a tour business for the cruise lines as well as guests from other resorts. We offer kayak snorkel tours, and pontoon snorkel tours, as well as private chartered sunset cruises.
We have established a solid reputation in the cruise business and serve approximately 1200 guests a year. Upachaya has earned the Trip Advisor Award of Excellence every year since 2010 for our tours. We have also earned the same award for the past 4 years for the lodge.
The location of Upachaya on the North Shore of the island is suited for fishing as well. Flats fishing is close by within a 5 minute boat ride. The reef is within the same distance. This area is known for fishing Tarpon, Bone, and Permit, as well as Snapper and more.
All aspects of the business are included in the price, as well as the boat, kayaks, and all equipment associated with the tours. Website, Facebook page and all other social media outlets and contracts with reservation systems are also included.
