Raton Pass Motor Inn started its life as the Capri Motel in 1956. After passing through a few owners and various stages, we purchased the property in 2016 and gave it the current name. There are 15 guest rooms, each individually themed with authentic vintage decor touches. We also have two vintage campers for guest use, which are only used in the warmer months. Outdoor areas for guests include fire pits and bbq grills, as well as hammocks and a roping dummy. The property includes a two story over/under duplex. Currently the night manager resides in one flat and a tenant in the other. The office building still has the original sign from the Capri, but sadly, the neon is no more. We host guest breakfast there, and there is room for guests to spread out. It also houses Raton Outdoors, a recreational equipment rental business which will be included with the property. Downstairs is a full apartment still needing renovation. Included will be all vintage decor and a number of classic vehicles/hot rods which are a big draw for guests.
