Owning and operating this Inn has been the greatest adventure of our lifetime, we have become deeply rooted in the community and it has been the perfect environment for raising a family.
About the Brandon Inn:
Located in Central Vermont the neighboring towns include Middlebury and Killington. This Inn is uniquely vintage and deliberately historically designed. A stay at the Brandon Inn is more of an experience rather than a place to lay your head for the night.
The Inn is the keystone to the newly designed buzzing Brandon community. It is located at the heart of the town center just opposite the newly renovated park. The Inn provides the best of both worlds; rural hiking, biking and scenic views and town amenities and entertainment. Just outside the front door you may find brew pubs, artist galleries, restaurants and unique boutiques in any direction.
The grounds sit on 4.5 acres. Hugging the property is the towns famous Neshobe River that meanders through Brandon. There is a large in-ground pool surrounded by patios and outdoor dining opportunities as well as lush gardens, lawns and wooded areas that make beautiful backdrops for events. The gazebo is a great new addition for any size wedding ceremony.
Even though the Inn is nestled in the beautiful Champlain Valley backed by the Green Mountains it is extremely accessible on the main North South road West of the Green mountains with plenty of off street parking. This dutch style brick building includes high ceilings throughout. The entrance flows into a grand lobby with an impressive wood burning fireplace. Just passed the lobby is the elegant ball room perfect for weddings, dancing, retreats and entertainment of all kinds. Several dining rooms interconnect allowing flexibility to accommodate any size function of up to 220 guests. There is an over-sized, well equipped kitchen that has convenient access to the dining rooms and outdoor spaces. A sun room and large 3 season porch make for additional guest enjoyment.
The building is cozy yet expansive, with 39 individually decorated bedrooms all within the same historic building. There are rooms to accommodate any guest needs with every size bed in many configurations including adjoining family rooms and 2 king suites with whirlpool jet tubs.
Every inch of the Inn is dripping with charm and tells a story. There is no other place like it as it pays tribute to the past and has kept it’s historical feel but yet is updated and comfortable.
There is a private 5 bedroom family home conveniently located just behind the Inn, far enough to get away from work but close enough to be available at a moments notice. It is situated on commercial land and therefore has the ability to be used as a business or extra guest accommodation.
